Having had the mBot robots in my class for quite some time now and knowing the benefits that they can have for helping students learn computational thinking and problem solving skills I used my connections with our supplier (Sminkslabs) to facilitate a workshop for Rotorua educators. A few staff from my own school and some from nearby schools attended the evening workshop in my class.
Update:
Since this workshop I have helped some students develop their own and they have successfully taught younger students how to programme and use the robots. These students loved being able to explore and deepen their own learning while helping younger students.
