Nga Motu - Te Ao Maori Minecraft

I have been using Minecraft in my class for a number of years now to help students learn by creating;. Recently the Nga Motu worlds has been developed to allow for integration of Te Reo and Te Ao Maori into the Minecraft realm. I attended a local workshop to have a go at using it. It was really good and incorporates a lot of reading, Te Reo and navigational skills. My plan is to use their tool in class to aid the student learning in both reading, Te Reo and the key competencies. I am sure the students will love it.

Below are my notes.
